Palace (A) Post Match Thread

Pep needs to forget being polite and start to talk in press conferences agressively. This has been a shitshow and he needs to be vocal and make some pressure on the subject.

Looked like a leg breaker on Kev but shown hobbling down the touchline at the end so hopefully just a bad knock. Jesus out is worrying need to get Sanchez now.

Graham Poll: "The referee was suckered in by Zaha's dive. It was a dive. An experienced referee like Jon should not get suckered into that one."

That's a relief to see..

BT just showed (without comment) a brief clip of Kev being walked along the touchline after the game supported by two medical bods. Moving gingerly but I'm hoping this is a sign it's not quite as bad as feared - I assume they wouldn't be doing that if they suspected a broken ankle.

I certainly am not concerned about the winning run, because we are still unbeaten and 14 points clear, but if there is not outrage at the quality of some of the tackles assaults on some players, then someone is going to feel a backlash from a City player. How that Puncheon challenge is not a red card is beyond me. Ball is nowhere, tackle is so late the ref MUST have missed it, and it is a literal leg/ankle breaker from behind/blindside.
If it is open season, someone let Ota, Manga, Ferna, etc all know and we will square up and play THAT game. However, if the Premier League wants to see more of the beautiful football we have been playing, then they need to get their heads out of their arse and stop allowing such reckless challenges go relatively unpunished. Sané’s petulance gets a yellow card and Puncheon’s leg breaker gets the same punishment? Football gone crazy.
Too pissed off to say much more, or call people what I think they are. Certainly, the level of physicality comes from the top...on the bench...and Hodgson can go fuck himself.
