Palace (A) Post Match Thread

Glad that that shit puncheon is going to be out for a while - know it's against the COC but for a disgsuitng assult he deserves it

Hoping for a retrospective ban for that dancing chicken zaha too - garbage whiner - in a few years time when the pace goes he'll be a championship player - same as Sinclair.

Moss shouldn't be allowed to ref another of our games - club needs to do similar to what Everton did on the cheating twat of the Merseyside derby years ago

Ederson - had one job to do and did it.
Walker - excellent again.
Otamendi- couple of errors but played well again.
Mangala - played well.
Danilo - good first half then faded.
Kev - not his usual self.
Bernardo - not a winger. Wasted out there.
Gundogan - looked slow today.
Sergio - not his day again.
Sane - very poor today again.
Jesus - hope it’s not as bad as it looks.
Sterling - we looked better when he came on.

I was undecided on whether we need Sánchez until recently. I thought he may actually unbalance the squad. I’ve changed my mind I think he’s just what we need.. he’d be another player of the highest quality and he’d add a new dimension to us. Get him signed up pep!

Pep didn't say Kev was okay. More like he didn't have enough info. It sounded like he was saying 'before' as in against Tothenham "we were lucky".

I don't think he had much info yet. Albeit the limping Kev is a little good news
If it was broken they probably would have known and they certainly wouldn't have had him walking on it.

Pathetic display from Fatty chops Moss, didn't book Dann for hacking down our player in the 1st half, gets suckered into giving a penalty for one of the league's top 3 diving offenders in the 90th minute (I don't want that loathsome diving turd of a player anywhere near our club) and lets that thug Puncheon hack down KDB 30 seconds later with no booking? Must be amongst the worst 90 seconds of refereeing ever seen in the PL to date.
Well done to City for hanging on there at the end and for Ederson for his superb save.
Certainly not our day but fair play, we didn't lose it in the end. This last couple of weeks have been brutal in terms of games played and the way we have been kicked and hacked by the opposition.

Both injuries looked longterm. KDB apparently is okay, but I still expect him to miss the next game. Jersus looks like a serious knee injury. We really need Silva back now and have to get Sanchez as well. Disgusted by Palace and that wanker Woy Hodgons.

Not going to focus on the hack job in my post. We all feel the same.

For me and I've said it all season, Gundogan isn't up to the level needed to drive this team. That performance was utter shite. We were crying out for someone to take hold of the game in the middle. Two things negated us. Gundogan doing sweet fuck all just mincing around at jogging pace and Bernardo Silva hugging a touchline they wanted him to have. The difference in how Sterling went inside compared to Silva was huge.

Both of those players need to seriously step up. Fucking passengers.

City won't play that badly again this season, terrible set plays, awful finishing and getting in each other's way on the pitch. Throw all that in the pot with palace on the up and playing well, I will take the point, especially with the awful penalty against.
Can't wait for the, wheels have come off hysteria to follow.
14 points ahead into the New Year and unbeaten, yes please, all day fuckin long...

What is it with Sane and Aguero - 2 yellows. Sane was petulant and kicked the ball away. Not for the first time. Then Aguero after a conversation with the ref.
walked towards their player , about to take the free kick , Aguero puts his studs on the ball - Moss decides Aguero needs a yellow.
It was just fookin' stupid on Aguero's part.

According to bbc Kevin hobbling down touchline assisted so hopefully not too bad an injury.

Pep just said on NBC, “Jesus out for at least a month, probably two. We are lucky with Kevin, we’ll see the next day”
They showed KDB walking around the pitch with the physio. Looked ok?

The bent penalty decision lead directly to Kev getting injured.

Well done fat Moss, mission accomplished.
You’re absolutely correct, a dreadful, dreadful refereeing display from Moss.. and as for the foul on KdB by Puncheon, it was a straight red and for his decision not to give it should lead to his demotion at least for the next round of games.. Finally, I hope Danny Murphy and his pundit chums at ‘The Brains Trust’ are happy with themselves after watching Palace’s systematic thuggery from the off today.. I’m amazed we got away from there without further injuries..

Yeah he did but he's being assisted walking around now so hopefully just bruising
Question now is how it reacts. Was a bit ginger in putting full weight on the ankle/leg while walking along the touchline, but tomorrow will be about recovery and reaction to the impact.

Put KDB in cotton wool for the Liverpool game, if he has a chance, and let the squad do its thing. If Merlin still unavailable, it looks like Silva 2.0 is going to get another chance to impress in midfield. Here’s hoping he starts to bring his Monaco form to City soon. Another great game from Ota and Ferna kept us solid in the middle of the park, but time for a Gundogan to step up now, too. Front line picks itself now, so let’s hope Watford don’t wear their clogs on Tuesday, or the reserves will be playing the Dippers.

Just watched Pep’s post game interview. Too classy to call it what it was, no excuses, go again.

Not for nothing, but BOTH CP players stretchered off were for challenges on KDB. Shocker....NOT! UFB.

That's two non-penalties given against us in the dying moments, as if the official can wait to even up the fact we are so dominant.

Sergio has no excuse. He's playing like a smacked arse.

Him, Sane, Gundogan and Bernardo completely ineffectual, to the point of passive or indifferent.

We so badly need the intensity Sanchez Cam bring, albeit, hate now paying a premium for it.

Leroy Sane acts like a petulant child when it’s not going his way. He has the potential to be amazing but he needs to grow up.

Sergio hasn’t been the same player for weeks.

Bernardo needs a season behind him, he will eventually come good.

Sanchez has to come in January as, and I hate to say this as he’s my all time favourite city player but I’m starting to feel like we can’t rely on Aguero. (can’t believe I’ve actually said that).

CB in January also.
