Palace (A) Post Match Thread

its gutting - because Dann is a good player for us- he is a bit of a leader and he didn't make a dangerous foul(how do you think it would be a 3 match ban?) - it was a (take one for the team obstruction yellow card)

Not bothered about punch at all though, we deserves it and he gets really snarky and jealous

Well i love Zaha so much. He gets a lot of fouls, and he plays for them sometimes, which these type of players do- they beat a player on purpose as they are to quick and get legitimate fouls (but make them)

This one was over zealous and stupid and was a dive, looking for a pen that wasn't on .. But then loads do it.

Dann is also a big favourite to us fans - he probally just got lost in the moment. I have never seen him do really bad things before(if it was really bad), punch has a temper on him and thinks he is better than he is. he isnt one of our top players and I am not surprised- good servant to palace but like i said . I am not surprised.

No one wants their players to do stupid - dangerous things - but sometimes if you are just not good enough to match the passing and dribbling and are overly pumped(like this is the best pl IMO ever) to get a win or draw - players can do stupid things.
That rings very true and it's what I thought the same straight after the game. Over-zealous stuff done to win. Some City fans think there's a deliberate plan by opponents to stop City by foul means. I don't agree.

I think we have to give the benefit of the doubt to players and trust that they weren't trying to deliberately hurt their opponent. Generally I don't think there's such thing as saints and sinners, but there are certain players who have a bit of an angle /reputation. I trust what you say about your players.

Hodgson has got your team playing now in a way that previous coaches could not - although perhaps the return of Zaha is also a factor. He has got something. I was thinking from previous games that he has come on since leaving Utd, but I can also see a lot of inconsistency there too. At top clubs you have to be able to produce consistently and reliably.

1. Potential leg breaker against Jesus, Bournemouth
2 Lastminute high tackle on Walker in a recent home game ( can't remember which one) left him limping ,could have been much more serious.
3. Alli on KDB
4.Kane on KDB
5.That N/cle player on Ilkay
6.Dan on KDB
7.Puncheon on KDB
And many more.
Nuff said.
