Palace(A) Post Match Thread

Walker had his best game of the season. Mendy played very well. Some great performances across the team.

Poor performance by Kun - not sure he’s fully fit yet. Merlin still out of form compared to his usual standards

We totally bossed the game and apart from some shit defending from the free kick we played very well. That’s why that 2 goal cushion is so important
 
Absolutely brilliant performance... Palace are a very physical team but we never gave an inch.
Ginger Kev is back...Raz was great ..big shout out for Kyle and Gundo...though Laportes passing was sublime.
Gabby looked very good when he came on ..though Kun was a little quiet but never stopped running.
Nice to see Mendy looking fit and full of running..not a bad performance from any player today...
Hope Fern is ok for Spuds games...
 
Crazy part is palace have had 4 shots at us in 2 games and scored each time!!
 
Brilliant!

Game management was fantastic, big players showed up. While Sergio didn’t get on the end of much, he worked his socks off opening up spaces in behind, which we were unable to exploit. Sterling bounced back from a horrible miss to score two brilliant goals and Jesus “steals” one at the end to help his confidence.

Time for Chelsea to keep their Anfield run going!!!
 
Just noticed that for Sterling's first Sane just jogs and watched. In the past when we are on it he would have been sprinting into the box for a pass or to pick up the pieces if the keeper parries the ball.
 
Job done. I love this feeling when the tension fades away for a bit, I'm going to enjoy it before the worrying sets in again.
 
Im the first to criticise Gundogan but he was excellent today. A moment in the first half when he was exactly like ferna taking it off the toe of a palace player in the penalty area. He battled as well and kept the ball really well so fair play to him.
Sterling excellent as was KDB who looks to be getting back to his best..the pass for sterlings first were being over hit last game

Kompany just adds that leadership that those types of games need. His presence just adds that authority.
 
Good game from the team. Stand out performance from Kev, Walker, Sterling and Mendy. Can Kompany survive playing the next 3 games to give us that authority? Sergio was rusty but hopefully that will get better.

It wasn't offside because the ball came off Wan Bissake before Jesus got the ball, so it can't be offside.
