Palace FA Cup Post Match

Great win, top work from Josh.

Looked scrappy at the start but 2nd half we looked in cruise control. Good to have Vinny back, doesn't half make a difference, Jesus battled all game, Silva and Sane were class, top free kick from Yaya.
 
Well done Josh, I went to the Palace stream second half as we were attacking that end. Thought we dominated and controlled the game, Silva seemed to get better as the weather got worse, I think he was MOTM. Good to see Jesus and Kompany getting 90 mins, for those that were asking Kompany looked like the footballing Mekon that he is. Great hit by Yaya at the end, Sane's was never offside just seen it again, the Palace fans thought it was.

Onwards we go to no doubt another away tie at a PL club.
 
Anyone who saw the game was the referring noticeably different from a PL one?

Willy still had to pull off a class save in the first half. Doesn't matter how good the defence is you will always have shots that need saving and Willy actually saves them.
 
First came from their goal kick, we won the header, Gabriel controlled and played Sterling through wonderfully, good finish Raheem. Silva nice run and assist for Leroy Sané, composed finish. Stunning Yaya free kick goal, classic. Brilliant to see Kompany safely return and Willy kept a clean sheet. Beautiful City.
 
We conceded a couple of really good chances tbh. Kolarov with that mad header down in his box that led to the Remy attempt over the bar. A couple headers wide or over the bar. A fair few free kicks that turned into danger. It was a lot better with VK there and Wily made some saves but for once the other team wasn't completely lethal either.
 
First time I've watched a game from the stands....I've heard people say that you can't truly appreciate Silva until you see him in person....phenomenal.
 
Nothing but positives today. 3-0 away. Our young stars shining brightly. Clean sheet and Vinny gets through the full game. Couldn't ask for much more.
 
Well done. A decent performance overall. Nice to see Vinny get a full game under his belt, Gabriel Jesus getting a quality assist for Sterling's goal, and had opportunities to bag a couple, Sane taking his goal well despite missing a gilt edge chance earlier in the first half. We had a very good shout for a pen but the ref was ok in general.
