I know a lot of people want MP to go but I don't, because if we get a new manager he will come in, give everyone a 'second' chance and it will be deja vu all over again watching the same players not delivering and not being found out for another 18 months...by which time the new manager comes in and gives them their 'third' chance etc.
Crazy as it seems, I think City are close to perfection and we are in danger of ripping the whole thing up for one minor fix. Perfection? Well for me that's turning up at one of our dodgy away grounds and having 75% possession - I'd rather have that than the 'old' city that would turn up for the kick-off and then get hounded off the pitch for the next 90, to the great delight of the roaring locals: we've all seen and heard what that sounds like.
For me the main mistake ruining our 'perfection' is of course Edin Dzeko - he just does not fit the bill for our possession style that is played out around the opposition box for 75% of the game. And to be honest I'm never that frustrated when I see City playing away from home with 75% possession - sorry but that's just me. I'd rather get rid of Dzeko (he's too mard to be benched) and stick with the possession approach and at least make sure we have a Tevez like player alongside Aguero. I'm hoping that Bony at least offers something like that kind of 'awkward' presence in and around the 18 yard line (but Tevez he ain't.)
The other thing I don't like to see is Zaba dropped - ever. I may be missing something but I still do not see why we bought Sagna - unnecessary spend IMHO - hopefully rotation brings Zaba back into the equation on Sunday, and Zaba's contribution in and around the opponents penalty area cannot be understated either.
I know why everyone is frustrated - I just think we (all) need to hold our nerve.
