Palace v City pre match thread

When players like yaya , nasri , dzeko , kolarov , play , it depends what mood they are in , if they can be bothered to bring their A game , or just meander about and look disinterested , against the lesser teams . Other players like , zabs , vinny , mdm , merlin , kun , hart , navas , milner , dinho , fernando will always give 100% , they might not play well or be out of form , but they do give 100% in every game . Which is a sad reflection on MP's motivational skills , we have the best squad in the league and there is probably half a dozen players who pick and choose their games . Maybe the new contracts the player are signing , with incentives for winning trophies is not working , for some of our players.

Good post that and about sums up the current problem.
 
Could be 4th when this game starts.
If City are up for it though we will win and go back to being 2nd.
Pace and commitment will be required from the off though.
 
How time has changed for city. we are now competing for 2nr or may be 3rd or even 4 th spot. It is again a pressure situation for our players. we know our players cannot play too good in pressure situation.
So come on guys we have to give our all.

The end of both our recent title wins were pressure situations as were the cup finals we won so not sure i agree with you there bud.
 
We'll most likely be fourth at kick off. The pressure is building on our big performers, just hope we get an early goal.
 
One thing you cannot accuse the current squad , is lack of bottle , in pressure situations , these players thrive ,as they have proved on numerous occasions , when winning both titles from near impossible situations , it is the run of the mill , mid table and lower league teams that we struggle against.
