Standard Chartered (Liverpool sponsors), and Roman Abramovic (Chelsea chairman) not coming out of this program too well.

Both potential money laundering, and Abramovic third-party ownership issues.

Next week's episode will link City to an unknown genocide so I wouldn't get too wound up by it.
The bbc ignore corruption in Football ,on these shores, but spend thousands investigating overseas corruption...cos thats what the 75 year old british tv licence payers want to hear about....

Next week sounds worrying.
This is all beautifully planned....Get Chelsea and scouse stuff out first then bury it with City story... ..at a time when the whole country will be in lock down watchng ...tv.
Bbc.smooth operators.

There's no potential money laundering about Standard Chartered. They've been caught bang to rights, not once but twice, and fined a cumulative total of $1.5 billion for money laundering. Much of it has been done for the rogue Iranian regime.

Good thing Liverpool "aren't that kind of club" as Bingo would say.

Just erring on the side of caution, but yes pretty much bang to rights.

Did you watch the program?

The Abramovic stuff about the third-party ownership (of a player playing against the other 11 players he 'owns') was pretty dodgy, albeit before the rule change.

Further evidence that football isn't as squeaky clean as people are led to believe.

No I didn't see it but I'll make a point of watching it on catch up. The Standard Chartered stuff has been established fact for a while though.
