I can't keep up with the channel changing.
Although the Chinese " catcher" didn't do so good with that gymnast who just fell off the bars

I continue to maintain that like Baseball and Cricket, Golf is not a sport but rather a competitive leisure activity, and thus should not be in the olympics (which could apply to a fair few other events, as well).

In my opinion in order to qualify as a full fledged sport a majority of the players need to be actively participating for 70%+ of the time spent during the competitive match event; it is a competitive leisure activity when a majority of players spend 70%+ of the time during the match simply waiting for something to happen.

I know this is an addition to the base definition of “sport” but I think it should be used, as we have more and more leisure activities now being nonsensically classed as “sport” for me…

I’d look at heart rate too. To be a sport it has to involve being at a significant rate for a significant period.

Great GB silver or gold in the shooting. Absolutely incredible how they hit 2 targets with a shotgun in quick succession travelling at 60+ mph. Gone to a gold medal shoot off
