What’s happened?

In the cycling are we guaranteed gold and silver in the men’s team pursuit? NZ are third and the commentators just said (I think) they can’t go for silver or gold now?

I've not watched hockey for years.

What's happened to corners? They seem to take them from that 30 yard line (sorry, don't know what it's called) instead of in the actual corner. When did that start happening?
