I spent every Saturday when I was a kid waiting to see if Jackie Pallo or Steve Logan would get their comeuppanceNot in the script mate..
Gojira were quality, never fails to make me laugh at how confused bbc commentators are by metal bands

They train their armpit hairs growth to meeet on the faceThey do know that's your typically looking French woman?
I watched about an hour and a half, but I didn’t care about any “woke shit” but I still thought it was wank. Nice idea, but in reality it ended up not working for me. I’m in Asia, so the plan was to watch the performance bit and then go to bed when they did the athletes parade. But the way it was done meant you’d have to watch the full 4 hours or whatever it was. And because of that, they didn’t really seem to have any spectacular set pieces like London or Beijing did in the past. Maybe they did at the end. The metal band bit was decent. Probably the highlight for me. But overall, it was just a bit disjointed. Some boats, Lady Gaga, more boats, a few people dancing around, more boats, a prerecorded bit…Not watched but the general vibes seems to be …
‘Actually , this has been amazing ‘
Or
‘wtf is this woke shit, awful’

Signed up tonight and they have an offer on for for 3.99 per month until the end of the year. I've thought about signing up for a while and that's cheap enough, if it's no good I'll get about 6 times as much live coverage as the bbc across supposedly 55+ streams for next to nowt.No same deal as last time.

What else is on?
An ex girlfriends dad was really into it. So much so he would put the chair right up to the telly and he was so engrossed in it by the end of the bout, he and the chair would be at the other side of the lounge. Comical to watch a 18 stone Irishman going through the moves on a wing back.Saturday afternoons on our telly.
But I can put a tennis racket up against my face. And pretend that I am Kendo Nagasaki.Saturday afternoons on our telly.
