KJT needs to be at her rivals in this by as much as possible and she's going to need to PB in the javelin to stand a chance of gold. She should get 100pts more in the 800m but unless she throws that spear further than before she'll lose too many points to Thiam who is looking in excellent shape.

These swimmers have been swimming for one hour and fifty minutes!!
That blows my mind. I get out of breath having a shower! How fit must they be to swim that long.

I just find it amazing that they can do it for that long, fair play to them.

I don't know why they'd want to do it!

Thiam has put the pressure on as well. She was miles off the board, just not spotting it at all. She's going to have to go for it or she'll be too far behind.
