This is definitely the pure cynic side of me speaking, but I am always suspicious of competitive runners that have been diagnosed with asthma.

Anyone know if there is fairly convincing evidence it is legitimate so I can scold the cynical bastard part of my grey matter?

It's also a wider track than usual so they should be able to get more speed from the descent off the top of the bank.

Yes he’s put the Population for Taipei rather than Taiwan. This is probably due to the fact that it’s referred to as ‘Chinese Taipei’ so as not to upset the Chinese. Taipei is the Capital of Taiwan.
