"Served his time" - that's what they said.

I put this one on the Dutch for selecting him. They've selected a child rapist to represent their country. That's down to their discretion who they select to represent them. He'd still be in jail it it was up to me.

It's not straight forward for the actual Olympic organisers..

Should they not let any ex convicts in the Olympics at all? I suppose that would be one way but then people like Anthony Joshua who was a convicted drug dealer wouldn't have been allowed to compete. And it's really difficult for organisers to start saying people who committed certain crimes can compete but people have committed other crimes cannot, it's just too much of a complicated route to go down, so I guess the only option they have is either let criminals compete or don't let them and let the countries decide.

Don't see any problem with Joshua being excluded.... I mean he has probably brought misery and suffering to many others.... and now he can live a life of luxury. Each case on its own merits. If you have inflicted pain and suffering on others especially for your own pleasure or profit then no.... FUCK RIGHT OFF.
 
I was thinking the timing is getting awkward for the BBC - swimming finals about to start. At least Peaty's isn't for over an hour yet.
 
Missed out on a medal by what must be hundreths of a second, he was 2nd going into the last 50m.
