Bernardo is on another level. His work rate is unbelievable. His dribble to clean out 5 of the scum was pure filth. His no look cushioned pass to Gabby was wicked.
Sterling seemed to play much smoother when he doesn’t try too hard.
At least he was in the right place to prod it home. Hopefully this could be the kick he needs. He must realise he’s not bigger than the club and has to work for a place.
Onwards, rest a few for the next one and focus on the PL.
Brilliant result and we could easily have had 4.

Great game. Crowd was immense. Bernardo is Ballon D'or material this year. He's outfuckingstanding. Cancelo and Walker are the best fullbacks in world football. Rodri is turning into an absolute beast. Dias being Dias. Never doubt Gabby.

what can be said about Bernie ! I was exhausted watching him, best bit of pre season was keeping him, world class. So many to single out tonight including sterling whom Iam hoping had run out the other side of a rough patch but wow this team we have is something to behold.

Wow looked like the usual smash and grab but we stuck at it, their goal was against the run of play so we just carried on where we had left off. Not sure why we didn’t go for a third just to put the icing on the cake. Bloody good win.
