Paris Saint-Germain (H) - CL SF | Post-Match Thread

Yes, Laporte would be a big loss. I'd assume Pep will tell him one bad injury or loss of form and he plays every week. I sense he's a stubborn character though and he'll be badly hurt missing out on the game of his life. If Sterling missses the game and has a poor Euros he might reevaluate and to be honest if we can get £100m+ I could live with it. Jesus needs to decide whether he's happy as a number 2 striker. At his age I'm not sure he will be.
I would hate to lose Laporte and you never know he could be starting next season!
The same with Jesus, at the moment he's the only senior striker we have for next season, so i don't think he'll be leaving.
Not sure about Sterling, there's rumours in town that he could leave but obviously someone will need to pay for him.

I'm sure we'll keep who we want to keep and a simple message of we have a great chance of going all the way next season and beyond, should whet any players appetite.

Still hasn't sunk in yet that we're in the European Cup Final :-)

So many of today’s heroes were fringe players not too long ago. There’s hope for everyone at this club.

Yeah i agree and also what a boost for the academy to see Foden doing what he's doing. Some of those players must be buzzing about the opportunities ahead.

The last 4 games Qtr & semis have been the best I've witnessed, I was bricking it in all 4 games why cos I'm a blue who knows nothing more

Now is the time to get down on 1 knee & tip my hat to the best coach in World Football
The players have bought into it & executed exactly what the manager wanted
That starting 11 was sensational to a man everyone of them
Stones & Dias outrageous Berny & Mahrez ran that arses off & Phil & Kev are on the same wavelength its poetry in motion
Dias will win PPOY & the Ballon Dor
Just imagine a full house at Ethiad last night, to put in that performance in an empty stadium speaks volumes for Pep and our team, pure class!!

The more you see that second goal, the more a thing of beauty it becomes. The weight on Kev's through ball, the timing of Phil's run and the slide rule pass across for Riyad to stick it away. The ultimate example of a counter attacking goal. God, I love this club.
