It's always possible to park somewhere else.Unfortunately not always possible

Agree. Might be inconvenient, toughIt's always possible to park somewhere else.
Fuck all wrong with it.
Consider yourself a lucky person if that's something you find affects you, far worse things in the world.
Consider yourself a **** if it affects you to the point of doing something in retaliation.
I completely understand your perspective and can acknowledge my point was far too general and discrediting of such circumstances. As a wheelchair user, I will take your advice and consider myself lucky.
Thanks for the perspective check ;)
That said, you do just get used to your path being blocked everywhere you go. I regularly have to cross the road, go up and down curbs and sometimes even go down the middle of roads.
I understand the world isn't built specifically for people like me - and that's fine. I just wish that where people do have an option/choice to not do it, they didn't. On my estate, some people seem to do it just because it gets them 10-20 yards closer to their door, even when there's ample space in nearby locations.

However, I do think those that find it a gripe with no such 'problem' and resort to damaging vehicles beacuse of it are cunts.
You say its a problem then say it isnt a problem? You mean its not that big a problem that people should damage cars. Fair enough.I completely understand your perspective and can acknowledge my point was far too general and discrediting of such circumstances.

I hit a few cars going to a house fire due to double parking, I couldn’t give a fuck they shouldn’t double parking. It’s not illegal in the uk to park on the pavement as long as a pedestrian can get past, the street behind us basically if they ain’t on the pavement the road would be unpassable, I walk my dogs on the road as it’s impossible to walk on the pavement. Now outside our house we park on the pavement but there is enough room for a wheelchair or double pram, not everywhere is plus people dont trim their bushes (oh er missus) so the car is up against the bush you have no choice but to walk on the road. Vans make it even worse, for me I’d ban it but also you shouldn’t have more cars than you can fit off road, some households have 3/4 cars and only one is on the drive.I object to people parking on the pavement that you can’t walk on the sodding thing as they’ve not left enough room to do so, therefore forcing you into the road. I’ve been sorely tempted to scratch the car when attempting to walk passed on the pavement.
Surely as long as people don’t double park, the road should be wide enough to park on? Unless it’s a van or an SUV the size of a tank in which case I’d smash fuck out of it.
Aren’t the emergency services allowed by law to bulldoze their way through in emergency? I’d love to see that happen one day!!
Basically the world is full of inconsiderate twats.
Haha okayIt's always possible to park somewhere else.
New road outside Slatterys in Prestwich where they just stop.Go down Cheetham Hill Road, particularly the top end, and they park on the kerb and in the middle of the fucking road.
Bollocks.Fuck all wrong with it.

Agree. I’m disabled and can only get out on my mobility scooter to take the dogs out. There isn’t a single day goes by without me having to squeeze through a gap between a car parked on the pavement and a wall.Bollocks.
Wheelchair, pram and buggy users shouldn't be blocked because of selfish cunts who blocks the pavement.
Well trimmed bushes should be mandatory.I hit a few cars going to a house fire due to double parking, I couldn’t give a fuck they shouldn’t double parking. Bollocks.BBC as in the national broadcaster or the more mdern slang term?
Cycling on pedestrian free pavements is a sometimes necessary action, especially on tight roads with audi drivers passing you hugging the kerbside.
it is illegal to park anywhere on the pavement in Greater London and all of Scotland.I hit a few cars going to a house fire due to double parking, I couldn’t give a fuck they shouldn’t double parking. London and Scotland outlawed it.Too many cars and too many work vans being brought home. It’s a nightmare. But nothing will happen until you literally won’t be able to drive anywhere as it’s one complete traffic jam everywhere . I have also noticed recently the tendency for some selfish twats to completely park on the pavement and that needs a huge crackdown. Is it right you can’t even park half in half off in London now? But there’s no political will as the ‘war on motorists’ brigade will start whinging again
Look what you've done! 5 pages already. Lol.I live on a small cul de sac. Its a 70's estate so 2/3/4 cars per house was never anticipated. However its 2025 and we are where we are. Personally I'll leave my car on the kerb then when the wife is home I'll go out and put mine on the drive at 9 or 10 pm. However I appreciate - as do other residents on our street that in order for bin lorries and emergency vehicles its best to keep it as clear as possible. There has been an issue over the last couple of years where after there was a new estate built behind us ( no vehicular access but pedestrian access) people find their door mirrors folded in by people who insist on walking up the pavement (in one case needing replacement). As its a recent development its taken that its the newbies over the back PLUS we always just walk up the street because there are so few cars come up it so its safe to do so. As an addition I would point out that today a tradesman decided kerb parking was not for him and he parked on the street. That made passing his van impossible ( he knew it was an issue coz he had folded his door mirror in ) so a patient transport ambulance returning a resident to our street had to go door to door asking him to move his van for access.
My question is - who is right? The people bending mirrors in when they have access the other side of a vehicle or the people parking on the kerb - bearing in mind some have no room for all their cars?
That was meBollocks.
As someone posted earlier
Pavements are for people…
I took the dog for a walk down a street this morning and every paving slab on the outside of the pavement was cracked into at least two pieces and in some places quite dangerously tilted with up to nearly an inch of trip hazard. The slabs on the inside were mainly in full pieces except where there were driveways.Walking to shop today, had to walk in road to avoid RAC man”s vehicle which he always parks full on pavement. Further up again walked into road while local farmer backed his sheep transporter onto his bit of a drive leaving his 4 x 4 full across the pavement. He regularly parks his tractor on pavement. Won’t be long before the pavements are wrecked. Feel better after ranted, but it is a problem for young mums with buggies, elderly not good on feet and people with mobility scooters.
