As a bus driver. Making it illegal to park half on the pavement will mean a huge rethink on bus routes. It's bad enough out there.

Today I parked fully on the pavement, but in my defence the pavement is about 15 feet wide and a double pushchair could pass either side of my car and I was less that two minutes.

recycle bin today - recently widowed next door neighbour knocked out of bed at 6am this morning by a dog walker demanding she moved her bin out of his way. Needless to say the road is free so he could have walked around her car. The reason her's is on the street as the drive is occupied by her late husbands car which is on SORN pending sale.

I would think most mate, they don’t care parked cars are seen as a natural road calming measure, for me the way round it is parking permits, if you have a drive you get one in there plus one on the road, anymore after that tough. They do it round the Ethiad it could introduced everywhere, we made ours bigger to fit two and used a pourous surface to avoid water runoff and flooding, many don’t do this and leads to flooding. Garages on new builds are not fit for purpose you can’t get a normal car in and get out the bugger.

Oooh scraped a car this morning with my postie trolly. Hopefully he'll not park in there in future meaning I have to go into the main road traffic.
