Parking near/at the Etihad

Does anybody really expect help from a club that has now sold itself to the devil.
The Tunnel club. Creaming off tickets and selling them to ticket touting site as they want to encourage our global fans.
Who will now pay £200. for a Bournemouth in our end.
Car parking is the last of their concerns unless you pay them for it.
I would ay that City have colluded with whoever to create the no go parking area around the ground..
Get real this club doesn't give a fuck about you.
This is absolutely true, just wonder what they've got planned next , just seems more & more hoops to jump through to watch City these days.

just tried to look on the city council website to see what the new parking restrictions are (and to find out if my regular parking space is affected) and the link is broken as the site has gone under a major re-working - so none the wiser

Unfortunately you are correct

Has anyone had any communication from the club about the change to on street parking and the new zones?

There's gonna be alot of parking tickets issued in a couple of weeks and some majorly pissed off people

Really confused with these changes just had a look on the council website and it looks like Riverpark Road isnt affected or am i looking at the wrong maps as it only seems to show Briscoe lane and Ten Acres Lane in the affected area.

Thanks for the link Urban Genie - I normally park in a street in Zone E5 which is now part of the new restrictions - looks like I'll have to walk another 400 yards or so

And the place I was going to park in is part of the extended E6 restrictions - seems nobody wants any of us to drive near the Etihad - looks like this is going to be a significant problem

Was always going to happen. When I saw the plans a while back mentioning casinos and asda I thought then that this place is going to be a "car free" village almost. Quite what they will do with ashton new road and Alan Turing way i dont know but you can bet there will be no cars match day. Not for us plebs any way.

The new no parking zones are definitely going ahead,I checked on the Manchester Council website a week ago and the new restictions that affect where I park are coming into force this season. I normally park on Ten Acres Lane just to the East of Briscoe Lane, but it will be residents only on matchdays. About 100 yards on Ten Acres Lane on each side of Briscoe Lane, and about 150 yards going North on Briscoe Lane itself.

I usually park on Briscoe Lane, at the first or second junction up from Ten Acre Lane, I had a drive down there on Saturday to check, and there are no signs up about residents only parking. Suppose they have a couple of weeks before the first home game though.
