Just wondering where people are parking for the final? Is it best to book parking before you go or are there plenty of places to choose from for you decide on the day?

Didn't drive to the semi but am driving to the final.

Cheers for the advice!

Im driving to High Wycombe and getting the train from there direct to the ground. Seemed the best option rather than bothering with parking near the ground which I expect to be both expensive and a pain in the bum.

There were a number of car parks nearby, going rate seemed to be 20 quid. Alterntatively parkonmydrive.com or similar, same price.

parkatmyhouse.com

I used it to park in Kingsbury, about 2.5 miles north of Wembley and then walked down to the stadium. There's a tube there too on the jubilee line into Wembley Park, but i wanted to avoid the tube if I could so we walked.

I have to say, it was excellent. No traffic getting there and by the time we walked back, it was easy to get away.

I can vouvh for parkatmyhouse.com, we paid £15 and got on a driver 2 mins walk from the Green Man pub; having said that we drove past places say 10 mins walk from the ground where you could park for free - I just don't want my car nicking tbh hence going for the £15 option again

Stanmore. Straight off J4 of M1. Loads of parking at tube station for £10 or parkatmyhouse.com. About 3 stops on tube to wembley.

For the semi final, I drove to Harrow on the Hill and parked on a long stay car park on Gayton Rd, which is just round the corner from the town centre and the Tube station. £2.70 all day! We had a few beers in a Wetherspoons called Moon on the Hill, which was bouncing all afternoon.

We then got bought an all day Tube ticket for £8. Wembley was about 3 stops away from Harrow.

park at wealdstone fc free parking cracking clubhouse 5 mins walk to tube, 15 mins on tube to wembley park ,straight to m40

we parking at the ground for the semi and have booked it again for the final.

To be honest I booked in it for the semi as i just could not be arse and as I girl I did not care that i could be in traffic for awhile, I hate the tube and at least i could lock my door and listen to the radio and be safe... (I know some scumbag could have put my window through - which they did not, but i felt safe!)...

BUT it was totally fine, I think i sat in traffic on there way there the most... about 30-40 mins on that long road that eventually takes you to our roundabout. On the way home we sat in the car park for about 15mins and then the que just moved quite nicely.

Its £27. 00 and you can book in advance.

I parked on Wembley itself for the semi... Booked the night before...drive straight on and took about 40 mins to get away (don't be tempted to do any Satnav detours)

Only issue for me was the potential for some trouble... The car parks filtered out behind the United coaches which were located right next to the City coaches.... Very little policing around should a skirmish happened (we just saw minor scuffles)

-- Thu May 05, 2011 7:21 pm --

I parked on Wembley itself for the semi...
