Varane at Real Madrid would be a good shout and a player that mourinho classed as the best youngster in Europe during his time there. Alongside vinny who would improve him no end with Shaw at LB - building for the future.
Watched a lot more of Mangala and starting to really like him.
He's a monster. He's big, strong and very quick. One of the quickest centre backs I've seen.
He's great in the air and comfortable on the ball.
A Kompany-Mangala centre back partnership would be in the top 3 in the Europe.
Whoever mentioned Caulker - great shout as back-up, if Cardiff go down.

How is his positioning?. I think that's probably the most important thing. If we want a big strong and quick centre back then could may as well chuck Micah Richards in there (I'm not saying Mangala is only that).
Footballing awareness and cohesiveness in our system is the most important thing.
