The 1st touch to allow Silva to volley that pass to Dzeko was amazing, but for me, his outside of the foot pass for Milner's goal against Everton was much more difficult. The rag's centre backs were spread so far apart that there was actually quite a large margin for error, but his pass v Everton HAD to be perfect - and it was.
Agree with Trev. Against United Silva probably could have put 20% more pace on the ball and 10% less, and it would have still got to Edin.
For the ball to Milner against Everton there was probably a 2% margin of error either way, as the Everton defender or Tim Howard would have intercepted it. The pass was basically insane for its vision and the execution was perfection.
That's not to take away from the Dzeko assist - it was another perfect pass...and probably harder to execute perfectly. But easier to be successful given those margins.
