Clough was dreadful for us and seemed hard to shift on or didnt attract much interest as he left our bloated squad to join Burton when he should still have had a few years at a higher level. He had looked decent at Forest. Ball had high hopes for a Clough - Kinkladze axis in the team, that went well....

Yeah, I remember Clough being utterly dreadful for us. He was shite as a central midfielder.

Not sure Clough-Kinkladze would ever have worked hard enough off the ball, whatever their ages were.
