An intriguing possibility has appear for the future of City. Pellegrini is wanted for immediate impact but they are preparing Patrick Vieira to become eventually the ‘Pep Guardiola’ of City, a player that knows the club inside out and that will manage the reserves to learn the trade. Pep only coached for a year (and only the B team) before he become the first team coach and won all the competitions available in the first year and a half in charge

Would love it to work out exactly like Pep at Barca but I'll see how he does with the EDS before I make an opinion.

Providing Vieira does well then why not. Vieira's playing record wasn't too shabby:).
