Patrick Vieira

The last I heard Patrick is thinking over a duel role at the club, which will invole him being a coach and an ambassador for the club.

Great bit of news if true. Will be a great influence for this coming season with his experience. Particularly for Richards and Boyata who are playing their first season in Champions League.

This is honestly as good as a quality signing.

Patrick is so important to the stability of the team.

Great week for MCFC thus far - Nasri would be the icing.

Patrick Vieira is set to deliver Arsene Wenger a fresh blow by turning down a return to Arsenal.
After seeing Gael Clichy join Manchester City for £7million with Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri also edging towards the Emirates exit, Wenger was hoping to tie his former captain down to a coaching role.

Thanks, but no thanks: Vieira is set to turn down a reunion with Wenger at Arsenal
But Vieira, who spent nine trophy-laden years with the Gunners, is poised to take up a similar role at Man City and snub his old club.
Meanwhile, Wenger wants Nasri's replacement in place before letting the midfielder leave Arsenal this summer.
Both Manchester clubs are keen on a big-money move for Nasri - who is in the final 12 months of his contract.

Feeling Blue: Wenger has already seen Clichy leave for Eastlands
But Wenger will not open the Emirates exit door for the 24-year-old until he is sure of landing a player he feels can fill the former Marseille man's boots.
As Sportsmail exclusively revealed last month, Valencia midfielder Juan Mata features high on Wenger's wanted list and the Gunners have already opened discussions with the La Liga club about a possible £21million move.
