Must have forgotten all those first teamers at City who came from the CFG clubs.
Or even the first teamers who were developed with successful loans at the CFG clubs. Like, eerm, whatsisname. And,umm...
Upamecano, Keita, Gulacsi to name but three went from Salzburg to Leipzig
CFG is dealing in a completely different game to RB. Not comparable at all.
RB are parking talented players in a crap league, watching them dominate then taking them to another crap league and then selling them for a profit.

If we get one player through a CFG loan its a bonus, its more than paid for itself already with the likes of the Ihenancho and Mooy sale. CFG is a marketing vehicle at the minute, player development could take decades and if it does then as I said its a bonus.

If you look at our other teams you will find that it is fairly regular. NYCFC have signed several players from Montevideo City Torque including Taty Castellanos, one of their best players and are about to sign Santiago Rodriguez, who is apparently very highly rated. Melbourne City have signed players from Manchester, New York and Yokohama; New York City have signed players from Manchester, Girona and Montevideo; etc.

Daniel Arzani, Aaron Mooy, Jack Harrison and Yangel Herrera all got a great pathway into Europe through CFG and netted MCFC and CFG a profit, while players like Angeliño, Douglas Luiz and Enes Ünal were developed during their time at city/ in the CFG system and also left for a profit.

Getting into the RB Leipzig team is much easier job than the Manchester City team. Gulacsi is hardly better than Zack Steffen, Naby Keïta is of a similar level to Ilkay Gündogan and Upamecano would struggle to get in ahead of Dias, Stones and Laporte at the moment. CFG is set up for global appeal, reach, and profit. All of which it does successfully, if we produce players good enough for City then great, if not it will continue to bring in revenue and expand our global brand.

So ultimately it seems you agree that the Red Bull model is performing better than the CFG model, despite lower resources and less longevity, at this moment in time.
They have scouted better players and have a clear pathway. Mane, Werner, Haaland etc
The CFG has produced players for Leeds, Arsenal, Newcastle, Aston Villa and RB Leipzig. None for City
