A mate of mine who worked for me died of this two years ago, he had no family so I went to see him in hospital/the hospice most days, horrible way to go and the speed it spread was frightening, not sure how anyone on here can take the piss, would they like it if they posted on here a family member had it and got the piss take out of them?
People wouldn't take the piss out of a 'real' person though.
This type of 'story' hits the headlines because it involves a celebrity, and i'm sick of it. You can't turn on the internet, telly or read a paper without being bombarded by it. Same with death as well. Am i meant to give a shit if some old actor, singer, presenter or mafuckingician has croaked after a long life? Every time i leave the house now i have to clap someones 'passing' as a mark of respect or togetherness or other such nonsense. Well no fucker clapped or went on twitter or put a story on the news when my Sister had 2 brain tumours, the second one killing her before she hit the floor. Is it somehow more 'important', and therefore everybody must know about it, if a the dead or dying are slightly famous?
I do my grieving in private and wish everybody else would do the same instead of laying it on the whole world.
