a mate just gave me a disc with 43 post Beatle albums on it...when I got it home and looking at all the albums I just thought jesus its amazing.

This guy since writing half of the 190 or so Beatle songs (that were mega hits the world over) has written 43 fucking albums, ok a couple are live but even so what does it take to write 41 albums post Beatles, most of which have contained top 10 or No 1 hits, whether you like his stuff or not you have to admit thats pretty fucking impressive, and still hammering it out at 70 ..

he's a pretty amazing talent, not really liked anything hes done since wings in the seventies though

Other than the frog chorus and that bloody awful song with his ex (literally) wife about some island in sweaty sock land I can't think of one song he has done, oh hang on that other load of shite about piano keyboards with the kiddie fiddler, so thats 3 and they were all dross.
To me his name will sell anything especially records and sadly people seem to be easily conned.

No More Lonely Nights and Ebony & Ivory, plus the three you've mentioned. That makes agrand total of 5 songs since The Beatles split up 40 years ago. And he's released 43 albums???
