People have misunderstood this point when I've raised it.
The PL currently lacks the quality of those 2 teams (and others), there's not really a standout.
Yes you can lose to any team if you're not at it (as someone replied to me about this) doesn't mean we're seeing a vintage PL season

And he's not wrong to a degree. We are still a work in progress, we are too reliant of Haaland and we're not knitting it together like we have done previously.

Only Evertons number 10 would get in our squad so am struggling to see how he's not wrong really.
 
Imagine being stuck in a room with Merson and O’Hara. You’d come out talking like an Eastender with a lower IQ than when you walked in with.

This thread has YouTube footage from Sky's feed embedded within a post. Sky couldn't be happier when that happens - it increases the all important view numbers and if people comment there better still - without any promotion required. City fans are doing the Sky social media team's job for them.
 
I watched the clip, not sure why it’s only Merson getting a hard time. Whilst he did talk utter shite including Donnarumma is a ‘good’ keeper there were plenty of others.

Danny fucking Mills - ‘City used to have two world class players for EVERY position, now you’re lucky if they have 3 or 4 in total’

City bingo at it’s finest.

Someone said swap Beto and Haaland around and Everton would win the game comfortably.

Sidwell - ‘Donnarumma made save after save against Everton’

Checks notes, he made one save out of one shot on target, dealt well with lots of set pieces.

It’s laughable that these numpties continue to make a living from the game.
 
If someone says to Haaland he's not a top striker.. does Erling care what he thinks??

Erling will ignore it and go out there and get his goals!

Guess what we as City fans should do rather than giving this attention seeker what he wants!

In the last few matches we have shown that the team is growing - Nunes and Nico G looking like they know what their role is and playing with confidence.

Keeper who is giving the defence confidence and got Ruben looking like the player we know he is.

Savinho showing signs that he’s getting it and lots of players coming back from injury.

Pep is soon going to be having sleepless nights about who he has to leave out the match day squad, we are anything but a one man team.
