He's impressed me, but I can't see why he's in the squad now and wasn't in it before. Has he improved that immensely in the last few weeks? He can only play in one position so I'd leave him out... but he's got a million caps to come in the future.

Today on SSN
Would Love to see Johnson play 60mins for England on Sunday, he gives great balance to the team so i would take him.

You can tell just from this that Merson knows nothing.

He's in the squad now because he's show over 5 months that he can cut it in the Premier league not just the Championship.

He's played most of his City games on the right wing but came on as a left winger last night, which is where he played during the first half of the season for Boro. But yeh, you're right Paul, he can only play in one position.
