Raiola probably sees an opportunity to leverage Haaland in order to help another of his clients. I really hope we don’t entertain this. Given that this is at least the second time he has been offered to us, it would seem that he is interested in making the move. United will barely notice his absence once he leaves. He’s a million miles away from being good enough to play regularly for us. Extremely inconsistent, and more likely to cost his teams goals than to create his team goals. Not nearly worth the baggage.

Im in a minority i know but i would take him 100%. Theres a player in there some where and shite coach after shite coach at the rags was never gonna drag that player out.

if the attitude was there and the willingness to not only learn off the best coach but also to learn some compassion playing with team minded players then there is a player.

In answer to your question, I’d say because of the wages and question marks against him now. I agree with everything else you say. Same with players like Joao Felix, definitely talent there, but not worth the gamble compared to the potential benefits.

There is ZERO chance we are looking at Pogba, it makes no sense whatsoever. He is the complete opposite of the profile of player we go for and have looked at. Yes you could argue that maybe Haaland is a break from the norm for us, but he's young and has clearly shown the willingness to work hard and learn. Pogba is past that. Unless Raiola is trying to give us a two for one to almost kickstart Pogba's career again, it's not happening and wouldn't even work.

He has the talent to play for us, Pep could have turned a young-ish pogba into a machine. However, he's spent some of his best years at united and become the lazy individual he's now known as both on and off the pitch, he's too old for Pep to iron out those horrible habits, that's the player he is now and will be for the rest of his career and that player is nowhere near city standard.

Given the wages he would want, his age and the fact nobody would be willing to pay a fee for him if he fails here too, he's not even worth bringing in on a free. No chance.
