I was glad he won a champions medal as he was a grafter. I remember as a kid sitting in Block H of the main stand at Maine Rd a block who’d shout “Come on Tyrone” at him. Never forget his goal I’m the semi. Was watching from behind the goal at the other end. It was epic. Saw him v Stoke in 2011 at Wembley and had a natter. As much a part of my City life as the current era legends.
I was in the Holte End that day, about 15 to 20 steps from the front, right behind the right hand post. You could tell from the moment Paul struck that free kick, that it had a chance of going in.
