Very underated walshy loved him when he played for us.
I remember football focus before the game, it was all about Walsh (getting a haircut!), seemed like a really good guy, he was really good player as well, never gave up and alongside Rosler he was awesome sometimes. Happy days under Brian Horton. He was a brilliant player and so skilful. The 5-2 Spurs game he was unplayable.
The Easter Monday game 95 big win for us pissed down all day red and black kit the sky end of program highlights to born of frustration by James classic City win helped to keep us up and fortunately Blackburn went onto win the leagueWas in London a couple of years ago and went to watch a qpr game, walshy was on it for soccer am and we met him coming down the gantry after the match. Was a very nice bloke, took a few pics etc and was surprised/flattered when I told him I remembered his sliding goal against Blackburn and how important it was to us at the time
He was an utter imbecile and a fucking useless manager. An honest article, probably demonstrates much of the culture of the time, glad hes moved on. Was amazing at times for us under Horton, never realised how good he was til he played for us. And then Ball swapped him for Creaney...
Paddy Roache ( blameitonpady. Com )Which ‘keeper was it that took a goal kick and it hit Walsh on the head and went in?
