She is a great athlete, no doubt about that. 5 years ago she was unbeatable.

The heat in Athens and then the injuries have not helped this time. Who knows? With smooth preparation and injury free maybe she could do it in London in 2012?

I'd like to think so. Now THAT would be a fairytale.

I do wish she wouldn't dissolve into tears though when things prove too much. I understand the emotional and physical investment in preparing for an Olympics but it does her no favours.
