Paulo Dybala

@Gazzetta_it: #ManCity are studying a potential move for Paulo Dybala and are willing to put a salary in double figures per season on the table for him. Pep Guardiola has always been a big admirer of the Argentine forward. [via @AlbicelesteTalk]

The “article” is so laughably transparent on its message and source:

After rumors of Liverpool's interest in Juventus striker Paulo Dybala, this morning La Gazzetta dello Sport also reports the interest of another important Premier League club: Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola would be very attracted to the idea of being able to hire another talent like the Argentine and the Joya, if Juve play down on the renewal proposal, from February he could start looking around listening also to the English proposals.

Also because the Citizens would have no problem offering him an agreement about €10 million, the one he has been asking Juventus for some time.

Now in Dybala's mind there is still only Juve, but he knows that the renewal negotiation could not end with a happy ending.

For this reason, a road to England could also take shape, if the meeting between his agent and the Juventus management, scheduled for mid-February, does not go well.

Pass he's injured 50% of the time

This is more a broader point than just about Dybala but I wonder if the club, or clubs in general care about injuries as much as fans do.

Injuries aren't random, and someone like Dybala gets lots of little muscle injuries, so would someone like Bonaventura look at those and just say "he's being trained wrong"?

We often look at a player and think, "with Pep's coaching..." or "In our system...", but why does that not apply to things like conditioning or muscle injuries?
