Paulo Dybala

If Dybala comes then that means Sergio has to go, I am not really in for that because I want Sergio to stay and I want Pep to test him for at least 1 more season.
Even if Sergio goes, I would rather we get someone else because I don't think Dybala is what we would require, I'd rather have Moussa Dembele than him if we go for a forward else I'd prefer Bernardo Silva who I think could be a successor to Merlin.

I second this, Dembele over Dybala would be my choice if Aguero goes. Dybala is half the player of Aguero and I don't see him ever getting close to his standard. Jovetic looked very good in Italy and look what happened here with him.

Dembele is another overhyped player and to be honest there aren't many outstanding candidates either.

Dybala's touch is fine. What I like about him is that he's genuinely multi-talented. He started off as a goalscorer but Higuain's presence has put him in a position to show his other abilities.

Jesus has already shown enough for me to believe he is far too talented a predator to play out wide. At a pinch, he goes behind the 9. But he is everything I'd want of a false 9. He gets the ball down, turns quickly. Can flick and play in close support and players running behind. Reads the offside line perfectly. Great attacking movement and dummy runs. He'll drift out wide at points anyway. What more could Pep want from a 9?

Dybala seems like he could be the same thing but..... kind of the other way around. He can and will score goals, has the finishes already..... he could well be a better finisher than Jesus.....but I think he'd be just as useful in any number of attacking positions. I was reading Juve fans talk about him playing so deep that he is picking the ball from the back four, like Silva used to. He's definitely a good presser and team player. I think he's probably a better dribbler than Jesus, and has that ability to ghost past players with the ball. I'd not worry one little bit about him becoming isolated on the flank. I think if he's on his own against the FB + a covering defender, he could pull them all over the shop, and pick a pass. So I think he could be really well suited to starting out wide and drifting in. Left footers often are.

Reservations: I can't quite decide how two footed he is / isn't. I can't see outright pace over 20+ yards, but it's there over the first 5-10. Probably not all that powerful either, but lets not forget he is still young. He looks young, if you know what I mean. I think maybe he has the potential to develop quite a bit, physically. He hasn't quite found his role in this team, and I'm not sure Juve are set up to give him his ideal role.

And......*sigh*.... he's just so clean cut. This might sound a bit stormfront, but I do like that he has northern European experience/pedigree.

Not a fucking patch on Aguero.

Would be similar to the Hart-Bravo situation if he ended up replacing Aguero.

He probably wouldn't score as many as Sergio but he's a far, far superior player outside of the box.

Dybala (along with Verratti) would have been my perfect signing six months ago but I'm not too fussed now that Jesus and Sane have shown what they can do.

My nan in her slippers and tabard is a better player than Aguero outside the box mate.

Aguero is a goalscorer. Dybala isn't.

You don't replace Aguero with Dybala, you just don't.

Yet Dybala has a better goals to minutes ratio for Juve in Serie A than Aguero had at Atletico in La Liga despite playing as a 2nd Striker. Dybala is still very much work in progress but if he naturally progresses with age he could be the best in the world and give us far more options than Aguero does.
