Paulo Dybala

Several sources are reporting that Juventus are close to sealing a deal for Palermo’s Paulo Dybala.

The 21-year-old has been linked with the Bianconeri for months, Rosanero President Maurizio Zamparini has hinted a deal is close, telling Coach Beppe Iachini not to play the forward.

Sky is reporting that the Old Lady are very close to agreeing a deal for the Argentinian, and believes that general manager Giuseppe Marotta could seal the deal after the Champions League semi-final second leg.

Mediaset is also reporting that a deal is close, and is running with what it purports as details of the agreement worth €35m

The news outlet states that the Turin giants will pay €25m up front for Dybala, with another €5m in easily-attainable bonuses.

Another €5m will be made up by giving players to the Sicilian side, with Edoardo Goldaniga and Eric Lanini the most likely candidates.

Mediaset has previously stated that Juventus have agreed a contract with the player, and reiterates those claims today, pointing to a five-year deal worth €2m per season.

The news outlet says a meeting took place yesterday where Fabio Paratici and Giuseppe Marotta of the Bianconeri met with Zamparini in his home.

DI Marzio states that the deal will be completed once the players agent returns from holiday next week.

That could mean Jovetic's move to Inter is back on.

We should have done a deal for dybala instead of firmino and then would of been able to swap Stevan as part of the Pogba deal.

Firmino is the better team player and Dybala is similar to Kun imo.

too many things would be needed to be in place for that....

Milner is better team player than Ronaldo or Hazard.

Indeed, Jovetic to Inter is a distinct possibility.

Multiple reports claim Juventus have agreed terms with Palermo and Paulo Dybala’s agent for a five-year contract.

Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini confirmed to Adnkronos today that Juve and Milan had met his demands for the forward, which between cash, bonuses and players in exchange will reach €40m.

Juventus representatives met with agent Pierpaolo Triulzi today and multiple sources – including Sky Sport Italia, Sport Mediaset and Calciomercato.com – claim a deal has been struck.

It’ll be a five-year contract worth €2.2m per season plus performance-related bonuses that would take it to €2.9m.

He wanted to remain in the Serie A was what I last heard. Also, Juve must have had other targets except Jovetic.

He's tailed off during the second half of the year, whilst i'm sure he's talented, i'm amazed Juve are paying that much.

I think Juventus transfer record is second to none.

Their whole team cost less than what United had spent this summer only and they won Seria A and reached the CL Final.

Didn't he say he wanted to come to city ??

Something about he wouldn't mind coming to City or Barca. Then later on he said he wanted to stay in Italy so his club were hell bent on strengthening the strongest club in their league to instead of fetching the most money they could for him.

Not really an option for Palermo if he wanted to go only to an Italian club.

They still got €40 M for a young player who only had one year contract left. Great piece of business for Palermo.. I can understadn italian clubs paying for him as he's proven in their league but I don't think English clubs would want to pay as much.

We just missed out on signing him before he went to Palermo so he undoubtedly had some nice memories of us especially given the success of our Argentines. His value of course quadrupled in the few years he was there.. that's how it always happens with young South Americans that we miss on. :\
