You've been consistent about your Correa love. I respect that :)I would rather we sign Angel Correa for a reasonable fee instead.

That's not a knock. Either would be great ;)Not knocking the player but he does remind me of Tevez than Aguero.
Thats a goal every 164 minutes. That is decent for someone who is just turned 23 playing behind the main striker, Shearer only scored a goal roughly every 150 minutes.

Do you not think the player who has scored the most goals in Premier League history (65 more than any other player) is a good reference point?Shearer is your point of reference?? Either way I still don't think that would fill the gap that Aguero would leave considering the fee he'd go for. If we're in for him I wouldn't be too bothered but I feel we could be targeting someone better.
Agreed on Aguero. My sense is he wouldn't stay unless he is the starter or a starter. Whether Gabriel is moved permanently to the wings while Aguero is here or Pep switches to 2 strikers to accommodate both. But Aguero simply will not do a rotation or squad thing.Or a combination of the two ;). Just to be a little serious I don't think we need any more attacking players just yet. If Kun decides to leave in the summer then that is another matter and we will probably end by smashing our our transfer record in signing a replacement.

And I understand. If I had achieved what Aguero had achieved (Frankly he is the best Striker to ever play in the league), I will not accept rotation either.
But if things don't get resolved, then he's a legit option. Sadly one that would be costly.
For what it's worth I think he is a fantastic scorer, Dybala, and has a keen eye for goal and movement around the box. He is a bit like Sane in being painfully one footed. Could go on to become quite an accomplished striker.
That aaid, his ball control is a little iffy, his passing in tight spaces is a bit wayward, and he has bouts of tunnel vision Where he goes it alone. Kinda like Aguero but with a bit more skill.
If Dybala comes then that means Sergio has to go, I am not really in for that because I want Sergio to stay and I want Pep to test him for at least 1 more season.
Even if Sergio goes, I would rather we get someone else because I don't think Dybala is what we would require, I'd rather have Moussa Dembele than him if we go for a forward else I'd prefer Bernardo Silva who I think could be a successor to Merlin.
Not a fucking patch on Aguero.
Would be similar to the Hart-Bravo situation if he ended up replacing Aguero.
Yet Dybala has a better goals to minutes ratio for Juve in Serie A than Aguero had at Atletico in La Liga despite playing as a 2nd Striker. Dybala is still very much work in progress but if he naturally progresses with age he could be the best in the world and give us far more options than Aguero does.My nan in her slippers and tabard is a better player than Aguero outside the box mate.
Aguero is a goalscorer. Dybala isn't.
You don't replace Aguero with Dybala, you just don't.
