PDF files

I need to transfer a word doc to a pdf file (sending an assignment to my tutor and this is the format he needs it in, I think hes got an apple mac or something?).
Havent got a clue if anyone can help I would be most grateful.

There's an add-in you can get for Word that saves documents as pdf's. Certainly there is in Word 2007 - not sure about earlier versions

Tell your tutor to stop being a cheap bastard and get a .doc reader for Mac, there's a lot of software out there for it.
