Pedro Porro

He has been very good in Sporting , MOM in portuguese cup final last saturday, yesterday he scored a lovely goal..good player!

He's a really good player. Had some super strong performances for Girona a couple seasons ago when they were in La Liga. Poor loan last year but kid can play.

Remember reading when he got loaned out that Sporting can buy him for 8,5m? Looks like another bad deal we've made. He is probably worth at least twice that now. If no more.

Angelino, Harrison and Porro. 3 players with fixed transfer fees that are way lower than their current worth. It's a shame that we are still not good at selling players.

It's a problem for sure. Look at Rhian Brewster, Jordan Ibe, Dominic Solanke. That's £60mil for 7 Premier League goals. Garcia's going on a free, Tosin looks an absolute bargain at £1.5mil. The Angelino deal is insulting.

If we'd been better at selling, maybe we could have bought Dias last season.

It depends on the nature of the sales clause. He's just turned 21, Walker is 30 in May.

If the €8.5m sale includes a buy back or a decent % of future sales it might be good.

Like I suggested yesterday, the purchase clause for Sporting includes a buy back for City.

What was that about Txiki being shit again?

The fee is so low because we have a buyback clause

I see where you're coming from, but with no bums on seats, revenue streams dry up, and to a degree it forces the hand of a selling club.

Just don't understand it. Sporting fans swear he's the best full back they've ever had. We've spent 12m to GET him from girona. Whose brilliant idea was it to loan him to sporting for 2 years and include a buyout for 8.5m? Yea, sure, I get that we have a buyback clause, but this constant "have a player out on loan tear it up and sell him for peanuts" method is absolutely terrible business. The constant buybacks - we've already lost out on angelino by selling him for way worth than he's worth, buying him back for more, and then AGAIN selling for less. Harrison we've lost profit on, but this deal really is unbelievable.

liverpool sell their solankes, their brewsters, their jordon ibes for dozens of millions. pretty sure altogether they must have netted them about 70m, only for those 3 to utterly disappoint and look like shite for the teams that got them. Yet when we have world beaters killing it in other leagues, we say goodbye for so little profit.
