Nah. Could sign Nabil Fekir with that money. Just as good and 7 years younger.

Some clubs promote diving , Liverpool and United spring to mind. Sterling is another good example. I like to think we don't promote it. When our players dive it always looks so lame. Obviously we don't practice like the others....Does that make it OK?

Why are we not in for this guy? 30mil (euro) release clause and with Txiki's conntections at Barca.....surely this would make a lot of sense?

I'd sooner us buy Pedro than bow down to the scousers and their asking price regarding Sterling. The man was a key element of Barcelona's dream team circa 2011; superb pedigree.
He's kept out of the current Barcelona team by 3 of the top 5 forwards in the world; we have one of the remaining 2 in Aguero, and this little fella would be a big asset to us.
The only thing that would piss Liverpool of more than us buying Sterling at this point would be us not buying Sterling; we should offer £35m take it or leave it, and use the other £15m towards Pedro.

21.5M is a bit of a steal for someone of his ability. Be very interested to know if their is anything in this but it does seem unlikely.
