He's won 5 Spanish league titles, 3 Champions Leagues, 1 World Cup and 1 Euros. I'd say he would be an improvement on Navas.

Pedro = Pep next summer.

Just last week he spoke of his huge admiration of the player; at the time I thought the fact we weren't in for him contradicted the rumours of Guardiola arriving next year.

I said at the start of the summer I'd have taken him; he's an orthodox wide 4-3-3 player, the kind of which we only really have Sterling. If/when Raheem gets injured/needs a rest, we'll have nobody who makes the kind of movements that are fundamental in that system. Aguero with two clever runners next to him will find even more space.

Navas isn't in the same league as Pedro; he was a regular in the great Barcelona team of 2009-12, and finds himself benched by three of the best five forwards in world football.

If we are in for him, then he'd choose us over the rags; he's better suited to our style of play (it's only a matter of time before they go back to Plan A and pinging it towards the Afro) and our Hispanic contingent have generally prospered here. Van Gaal has majorly pissed off the Spanish contingent there with his treatment of Pedro's former teammate Valdes.

who are the other two?

He hasn't though. The team he is a squad member of did. That's like saying Stuart Taylor is a better keeper than Hugo Lloris as he won the prem.
From 09-10 to 11-12 seasons, Pedro had 153 apps across all competitions for Barca and scored 58 goals (as a winger, mind). He's still been a regular since then with almost the same number of apps each season, just less often a starter.

Your comparison is invalid.

Can't remember Stuart Taylor ever having a bad game for us.

Jonathan Greening had won Prem titles and the CL. Doesn't mean he's a good player.

Not saying Pedro isn't by the way.

Navas himself has won a Premier League, a League Cup, 2 Copa del Reys, 2 UEFA Cups, a European Championship and a World Cup.

Whereas Sterling has won fuck all.

My comparison is perfectly valid.

As someone already pointed out, he was a key element of the Barca team until Guardiola left. The best club team ever, he was a regular.

Presumably, Ronaldo and Aguero.

Yep.

Taylor didn't even play for us. I don't understand how you can compare him with Pedro's contributions at Barcelona. But by all means, explain yourself if you can. This should be good.

My point is no one player wins a league or a cup. The team do. You cannot just judge a player on how many winner medals they have which is what you seemed to be doing with your comparison of Navas and Pedro. You were basically saying as Pedro has more medals he would be an improvement. Read your post back.

There are a lot of average players with large medal collections. I'm not saying Pedro isn't a good player. Far from it. Just that you can't say a player is better than another because of what they have won with their team.

Correction: I never said Pedro is better because he has more medals. That was someone else. Go back and look at the posts, and the user names. Instead, I was pointing out that Pedro is better because he was an important player for Barcelona during those seasons, and then I backed up that statement with evidence.

Again, a comparison to Stuart Taylor is absurd!
