It's never good to hear of Chelsea 'strengthening' - but they are always going to try and compete with us.
Pedro isn't exactly an earth shattering / fear inducing striker. Costa was more worrying when they signed him. That said, nobody knows how well (or not) it will work out.

The rags have been blacklisted by players. It's obvious. You think Valdes, De Gea, Falcao & Di Maria aren't telling everyone to steer well clear?

It's true, Van Turtle has shown loyalty to shite like Phil Jones, Smalling and Ashley Young and left players like Valdes, De Gea, Di Maria and Falcao to rot. He was right to not extend Falcao's stay but he didn't exactly make him feel a true part of the club. It's lovely to see. Their latest messiah is a young Dutch kid who scored two goals against a Europa League team from Belgium. His first goal they allowed him to prance through unopposed and then he missed a sitter.
Not done much in the league yet.
