The reference to a Manchester band is very apt - even if I don't like them myself, but then again I listen to BJH!

Can we have an 'engineer' slogan for the next one, something like:

For a long banner:
(Pic of Pellegrini) +"Excellence and innovation built into every design"

Stick this on the bridge to the academy:

" Building the future on a foundation of excellence"


For flags etc:
"Engineering Works"

Morrisey is a miserable Rag gimp who was in a half decent band who did some very good but an awful lot of shit songs.

He doesn't even eat meat for fuck's sake - that's something that defines us as the species we are and he doesn't eat it!

Is this a reference to Gordon Smith of "Smith must score" fame who went on to play for us. Sadly Not all of us of a certain age know that much about Manchester Music ( or any Music come to that ) so thanks for illustrating the Manchester Connection which we do understand the importance of.
