Having viewed it I am still in shock that Edin would have a curry at a Chinese Restaurant. Like Chicken Kiev it's so 1980's.

I like Chicken Kiev.

I don't know what decade inserting a superfluous apostrophe in between 1980 and the s is from. Is it from the 1980s?

Yes. Its gratuitous use was a lame attempt at metafiction on my part.

-- 30 Mar 2014, 20:31 --

This doesn't surprise me.

There are as yet undiscovered life forms living on the side of hydrothermic vents in the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean who can see that City is a much happier camp under the new manager. In fact that's probably not strong enough: there are microscopic organic amaeba living on moons on the far side of Alpha Centurae who can see it.

Fuck it, I'm going to go the whole way...even that TGR would admit it if pushed, and he has a picture of Bob in his wallet.

Such a way with words our Didsbury. But as usual just hot air. The reality is that many revere Mancini for winning the League. Until Pellegrini does likewise I couldn't give a flying fuck how happy everyone supposedly is. Football is about winning not smiling.

Amongst the storm clouds of love and yearning in your broken and betrayed heart. you've presumably forgotten last season when our team was neither smiling nor winning things. Or blanked it out, maybe.

I understand. Your hero will be on the market again this summer I believe. Close to the sack after yesterday's result I hear. That's gotta hurt.

I have to admit that's tremendous stuff. But I have to tell you Mancini is not my hero and I have never once checked his results with Galatasaray. What I am is someone who respects what he did for us, which was given what had gone on the previous 30 plus years pretty sensational. What he achieved was more psychological than tactical and maybe once the psychology stopped working so did the results.

With 8 games to go we are in a much better position than we were with 6 games left 2 years ago. Let's see if Pellegrini has what it takes to get us over the line.

Txiki saying that he made the right decision (with his mate) in sacking Mancini.
Now who would have thought that he'd say that?
It was right to part company with Mancini at the time we did. He is always
a bit of a "short, sharp, shock" type manager with a limited timespan at
any club. The way we handled his dismissal was an absolute disgrace though
and probably cost us the Cup Final. If Txiki thinks bad mouthing the man who
ended the 35 year drought and won us the title after 44 years is going to play
well with City fans he is very, very, wrong. Whatever their feelings about the
rights and wrongs of his dismissal 90% of fans still love Mancini for what he
achieved.

Haha. I'd say that over 99% of city fans won't give a fuck one way or the other about the comments.

The Mancini candle holders represent a tiny number of crackpots amongst our fanbase. Everyone else has long moved on.

We have too many thin skinned fans DD.I would think that certain parts of the anatomy have yet to fall into their scrotum.

The vast majority of our fans appreciate what Mancini did for us. As I said in my post it was time for him to move on.
The fact that you two think I'm a crackpot and thin skinned says to me that you are blinded by your own prejudices.
Perhaps the fans would move on if people within the club stopped snipping at him and moved on themselves.

Jesus wept. Some posters just post the same fucking shit day-after-day-after-day... Tiresome top knob heads!
