I'm not so sure he was comfortable with a camera in his face on his "First Showaround" of his new club. I think a little privacy might of been key for his settling in morning, then conduct an interview on his "First impressions" later in the day

The guy is cool and self assured. We don't need to be seeing him "Timmy Mallet esque" jumping in his managers chair and swiveling around like a kid or pointing out things going "Wow look at that huge washing machine Ruben, it's twice as big as Malaga's". I think a bit more class from the Citytv team to be honest.
This made me laugh.

Anyone get why he was asking about the under soil heating?
He isn't called the engineer for nothing ;)

I suppose every little detail counts, I noticed he spent a lot of time with the kitchen staff as well as of course the analysis team.

He could of course just being the nice fella he is but he seemed genuinely interested in the food that is served and I guess at what times so he knows regarding training sessions.

What does Kidd say to Guidetti?

He says ''you were getting to smug''. Referring to what he was like after Feyyenord and what the injury has done to him

I thought he says" what makes you think you were in it " refering to the sweden squad for the euro's and he said he was in it.

Must admit he came over well, humorous, but serious when it was something that got him going. Liked how he wandered off to look at the shirts - he seemed impressed but will have seen it all before. Best bit was when he stated he needed analysis with "all the team".

When he was talking to the grounds crew member he said it was 8 and pelle said can we make it 10 idk what they were talking about tho..I'm assuming it might be the inches of the grass idk

Can just imagine playing on 10 inch grass. We wouldn't see the ball. Can just imagine Silva playing a ball to seemingly no one when up pops Aguerro from the long grass with Predator style war paint on to ram it home.

I am dusting off the ban hammer
I sniffed him out ages ago, no-one listened because he uses long words a lot.
I suspect the reason that no-one listened is a very different one.
Enough outta you, you raggy wordsmith.

-- Tue Jul 02, 2013 9:47 pm --

Well let's hope the Val Doonican look can win us some trophies.

Needs to be conscious of his collar, straighten it out. No good claiming to be cultured and walking about with a wonky coat in the Hugo Boss shop.

Overall a good tape there, insight into the club is always welcome and our Man Pelly got a good look around his new workplace. I reckon he'll do the business.

Liked the bit about the new training facilities being ready for next season.

His Collar ???? You picked up on his collar ?? its not a fashion show ffs
He now manages the best club in the land and all the world, needs to smarten up! (to be fair it was only in the first few mins it was wonky, understandable, maybe, when getting off a plane, the rest of the vid it was straight enough) Untidy collars do my head in!

Proper buzzing for the new season, as I said I reckon he'll do the biz. Can't wait for it.

I noticed that when he walked into that room with the telly in, it was just at the exact moment Mancini lifted the PL trophy!

Think it was just kompany was lifting it, but still a bit naff on citys part. Must of been going wait, wait, ok play now, could see the dafqu look on his face. Other than that a good watch.

I thought that, a bit too contrived and staged and "Naff" basically.
it was a coincidence,ffs
