I have a theory that the chairman is enjoying this thread so much he has said "no announcement is to be made"

I reckon he's one of the agitators on the thread - imagine him and his pals sitting on the throne

"hey guys, someone post one about a late bid from PSG... hahahaaaaa"

"yes your highness"

"guys, guys - someone post one about his agent seen having a jaegerbomb with the chairman at madrid... hahahahahaaaaaa"

"of course, your excellency"

"Yo, yo - you guys, word up! - you guys carry on in here, I'm off to the gratuitous pics thread.... know what I mean! hahahaaaaaaaa"

"yus, m'lady - shall I open another bottle?"

Sheikh Khaldoon said the manager would be announced in the next two weeks. That was on 31st May, so it looks like later today or tomorrow for an announcement.

Sorry guys. I was going through my emails this morning and found one waiting for me to approve the Pellegrini appointment. I of course clicked Approve but forgot to press send. My bad. Just sent. Should be appointed shortly ... Unless the system is broke.

I'm ITK on this one - Pellegrini has signed his contract and done the interview in Barcelona that will appear on the official website once has he has been confirmed. Don't know why he's not been announced yet but my info is 100% genuine.

And why was the interview done in Barcelona? Please tell me he is in the city signing Thiago? Or maybe Messi?

No Mate. Ryan Air flights to Barcelona are what it's all about. FFP and all that.....

My educated guess is that its agreed that Malaga will announce their new manager before Pellegrini can be announced at City.

Bernd Schuster's agent Thomas Berthold (World Cup winner 1990) has confirmed this afternoon, that he will become Malaga's new head coach.

I won't fella.

In my defense it was written before on here and I repeated, save the death row spot for the culprit. I am aware of my crime but not the master mind ;)

@Matty, yes I get you fella but quite simply there's absolutely no point worrying about this issue, it's sorted. Save the fretting/flapping/wishing etc for Cavani.
Then why not announce it, and unveil it later. if it was "sorted", it would be announced.

They haven't officially signed it and they will wait until the guys finishes his holiday. We are about to sign Isco (one he finishes u-21) and him, Isco and the other two will be announced.

No faith needed but keep it anyway. It's sorted 100%. Time to worry about our incoming striker, that's the only one worth flapping about and even that's a waiting game for now.
Thanks for replying.

Cavani's Mum talked about a fortnight which is the end of the Confederations Cup

If the media had the merest hint that Pellegrini might not come then you would expect something along the lines of this from the Star or Mail:

'City Make Shock Kean Move'

Having been snubbed by long term target Manuel Pellegrini, who has decided to join [insert club name here], Manchester City are believed to have approached Steve Kean to take the Eastlands hotseat. Kean is thought to be reluctant at this stage but the club believe a bumper salary of £15 million a year will be enough to land their man.
