Pellegrini opens up about City

We went from Silva, Yaya and Nasri to Delph & co.
Come on give the guy some slack, the least he deserves.

I was thinking based on his recent record for Man City. Where I and many City fans breathed a huge sigh of relief that West Ham beat the scum in the closing week of the season and we crept into the top 4.

The thing is we were dire for two years before the announcement of Pep, the season we won the league we were quality for about 4-5 months then fizzled off, the season after we were average and the season just gone we were very fortunate to get top 4, luckily enough West Ham beat United....

Season gone was the season we could have taken the league by storm and won it by March/April but no we were diabolical after the first 6 games. To blame it on the Pep announcement is stupid, lost all credibility for him now.

I take it this is in response to me questioning why you believe Everton shouldn't consider him.

Does his record pre City not matter?

That's a good interview with some valid points I can accept. And it's true that Guardiola's mid-season comments about how he will continue in the Premier League were unluckily timed. At the same time, there was certainly a serious amount of pressure from Bayern, so he had to come up and say something, but still...

The way he and the squad performed throughout this bad run of form is still unacceptable, mind.

Finally Jamie Jackson's existence makes some sense.

He won as more domestically than Mancini and the same as Mercer in less seasons with a better win ratio.

Same amount as Mancini domestically, but I don't see why you're restricting the honours to those won at domestic level. Plus Mercer's trophy record is hindered by the difficulties he encountered at the start of the 70s; I don't think Pellegrini's record would have improved had he stayed on. For me I take into consideration what each manager has done for the club, and while Manuel can be considered one of our finest and most likeable, not forgetting our European progress, Mercer & Mancini did far more for the club.

The silly old clown still making the same shit excuses then. If losing de bruyne is so decisive then maybe, you know, try getting the best out of the world class striker Aguero and the rest we've got there? We saw the team sheets and regardless of injuries we still had the better players to the opposition on paper every week and yet we were still outplayed most of the time. That's his fault, the nob

I don't know how many times I'm gonna have to read him go on about his record over three seasons, maybe someone needs to explain to him that titles and trophies are given out on a yearly basis and not every three years? The old bid seems to be struggling to grasp this one.

And the pressing thing!! Haha fucking hell what pressing? On the rare occasions over the past 2 seasons we actually bothered to press it was the worst I have ever seen from any team ever. I mean, shit teams might press and lack the organisation required but at least they will put some effort in. With ours we'd have Aguero walk up to a few defenders, look around, see no one backing him up,they'd easily pass it around him and then it would be dave or yayas turn to walk up, look around see no support and the opposition walk past them. It was fucking shameful

And the announcement thing - he's blamed that previously for the poor performances but in this he says that it was him who made the announcement?? And maybe we as a club need to man the fuck up if we're gonna put a managers feelings before the results of the team. He's paid very handsomely to do his job regardless of whether he's leaving or not. If he wasn't capable of keeping a team together after the announcement he shouldn't have fucking announced it. "It's not fair to the other managers" what the fuck? What about us lot who've paid good money to watch the fucking shit we've had to watch as we've bombed out and died this half (and a lot of the first half to be fair, which also probably proves that the announcement made fuck all difference whatsoever) of the season

He's got away with murder this dick, and he's got the audacity to make these excuses. I'd count myself very lucky if I was him and fuck off quietly. Hopefully this is the last well hear of it, but I doubt it
