Pellegrini opens up about City

I honestly can't tell if you're being serious but,Mir you are, what a lot of old cobblers!
For a start, he wasn't in charge when we beat the rags to the title. As for the rest. How have you gone from cheering City surviving relegation to moaning that we didn't win either title by enough points? Dippers lost at home to Chelsea, as did we. There were two teams we didn't beat in the league that season, we won the most games, scored the most goals, conceded the second fewest and had the biggest goal difference but none of that says we were the best team in the league?
As for 2011/12 we set the record for most consecutive home wins in the history of the PL, with 20, heart the rags home and away and condemned them to the highest ever points total not to win the title.
Not the best team in those years? My arse....

I can't find in my post where I said these highlighted bits. I wasn't moaning that we didn't win the title by enough points, I was suggesting that we won it because other teams AHEAD of us faltered, and I didn't suggest that we weren't the best team. I said that I would like us to be considered the best beyond those who sit at The Etihad.

Didn't Liverpool win about 13 of their last 15 games? Hardly faltering is it?

When it came to the crunch, they faltered!

13 wins and a draw out of the last 15 is faltering?

They lost at home to a better, more expensive team with a much better manager.

We actually won the league despite Liverpool's gross over achievement and media driven momentum.

Much the same as United didn't choke away at West Ham this season. They lost away to a team that pretty much matched them all season.

If Liverpool had lost at home to Sunderland or West Brom then that would be faltering.

Losing to Jose's parked bus tactic was predictable. Almost expected.

A season is 38 games, you play everyone home and away. At home to Jose's bus parking is about par. We also lost at home to Chelsea didn't we? It was a masterclass apparently.

By that logic that goes for any title win by any team in any league... "they only won because the rest of the teams screwed it up at game a) and b) or that team x had a bad year" it's straight out of a Dipper shitrag paper that kind of talk... in fact isn't that where the argument came from? "It was our year youz only won it because we threw it away la"

If you are top in may then you have earned it even if you win on goal difference, luck does play a part and if you have good luck then good for you
