No point buying people in January. Anyone good enough is playing in the CL for other teams. We'll end up just over spending on a mediocre player that wont improve the first team.

Agreed. The last thing we want is to get to the situation where we are buying 'cover' but this cover isn't actually good enough to challenge our first team.
They end up on 3 year contracts and we can't get rid of them.
Having said that, I think from what Pelle has said, that there may be something in the pipeline. Now wheres the Pepe for my salmon.

The set up at City these days with Cheeky Stan and Furry Ammo in charge will always lead me to think that they had the piece of paper on the desk for this window the first day after the last one closed.
